BBA Imperial Stout | 440ml | ABV 13% | Glen Iris, Australia
The storm continues to pound, but our traveller has no choice but to venture on. In the distance, you see a gaping dark mouth. The cave offers respite but even with a flint there’ll be no fire as everything is frozen, it’ll be dark, cold and damp. Even so, your pace quickens as a way out of the elements grows nearer…
This Imperial Stout was aged in Bourbon Barrels for 12 months and then conditioned on pecan and vanilla pods resulting in thick chocolate notes, backed by vanilla, coconut, whiskey, and oak.
Powering up their Glen Iris brewhouse, located 10km southeast of Melbourne's CBD, was an incredible milestone for Deeds Brewing founders Pat Alé and Dave Milstein. Having gained life as a contract brand, Quiet Deeds, in 2012, the brewery remains proudly independent and is still passionately brewing quality beers worth sharing. Under the leadership of Head Brewer Justin Corbitt, expect the new Deeds beers to be exploring a diverse array of modern styles.
